Sanitation & Disinfection Services in Metro Vancouver

Targeted disinfection for shared and high-risk spaces, with documented products and dwell times.

What this covers

Disinfection only works if the product stays wet on the surface for the time its label requires. Wipe it on and wipe it off and you have cleaned the surface, not disinfected it — which is why so much pandemic-era disinfection achieved nothing measurable.

Evo Clean documents the product, the dilution and the dwell time for each surface type, and the crew works to that. It is a dull discipline and it is the entire difference between disinfection and the appearance of it.

Products are low-VOC and third-party certified. That matters in an occupied building: a space that reeks of bleach an hour after the crew leaves has told everyone in it that something was done, and given them a headache for the trouble.

Included in the specification

  • Electrostatic and fogging application

Even coverage on complex surfaces — keyboards, chair arms, equipment housings — where a cloth reaches the flat parts and misses everything else.

  • Documented dwell times

Each product's required contact time is recorded and worked to, so the result is repeatable rather than assumed.

  • Low-VOC certified products

Third-party certified chemistry, chosen so the space is usable immediately afterwards and the people in it are not the test.

  • Outbreak response

A defined scope that can be scheduled at short notice when a building needs a deep disinfection pass rather than its routine clean.

Questions we get asked

Is disinfection different from cleaning?
Yes, and the order matters. Cleaning removes soil; disinfection kills what remains. Disinfectant applied over dirt is largely wasted, because the soil shields the surface. Our disinfection passes clean first, then disinfect — which is why it takes longer than spraying alone.
Are the products safe around staff and children?
We use low-VOC, third-party certified products and record the dwell time each one needs. Spaces are usable as soon as the surfaces are dry. If you have specific sensitivities or a product policy, tell us at the walkthrough and the specification is written around it.
Can you come in at short notice for an outbreak?
Outbreak response is scoped ahead of time as a defined piece of work, so when you call there is already an agreed scope and price rather than a negotiation while you are trying to reopen.
