Project & Move-Out Cleaning in Metro Vancouver

One-off cleans for relocations and incident recovery — fixed scope, fixed completion date.

What this covers

Project cleaning is priced wrong more often than any other kind, because it is usually bought under time pressure on an open hourly rate. The crew arrives, the hours accumulate, and the invoice is a surprise at the end of a week that was already difficult.

Evo Clean scopes this work as a defined project: what will be done, by when, for how much. If the scope changes because the building turned out to be worse than the walkthrough suggested, you hear that before the work happens, not on the bill.

Move-out and move-in turnover is the common case — a lease ending, a space needing to be handed back in condition, or a new floor needing to be usable on the Monday. Incident recovery after water or smoke is the other, and it runs to the same rule.

Included in the specification

  • Move-in and move-out turnover

Full clean of a vacated or newly taken space, including the cupboard interiors, appliance interiors and floor edges that a routine clean never touches.

  • Water and smoke incident recovery

Cleaning and deodorising after an incident, coordinated around the restoration trades rather than colliding with them.

  • Pre-occupancy detail clean

The pass that makes a space ready for people rather than ready for inspection, done close enough to the date that it still looks it.

  • Fixed scope, fixed completion date

Quoted as a project with an end date, so an urgent job does not become an open hourly rate.

Where this fits

Building types this service is built around, across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

  • Offices relocating or downsizing
  • Landlords and property managers between tenancies
  • Retail units changing hands
  • Buildings recovering from water or smoke damage
  • Spaces being prepared for sale or inspection

Questions we get asked

How quickly can you start?
It depends on the size of the job and the week, and we will tell you honestly at the walkthrough rather than promise a date to win the work. Turnover cleans are usually schedulable within days; incident recovery is treated as urgent and slotted accordingly.
Is this priced hourly?
No. It is quoted as a defined scope with a completion date. An hourly rate on an urgent job puts the risk entirely on you, and it is the reason project cleaning has the reputation it has.
What if the space is worse than expected?
You hear it before the extra work happens, with what it will cost and why. A revised scope you agreed to is a different thing from an invoice you did not expect.
